And the winner is...........

Hi everyone, as promised I had to pick a winner for my blog giveaway today and the first name out of the hat was Beth Niquette. So, if Beth emails me her postal address I will send my book across the big blue yonder. Thank you so much to everyone who entered and took time to help out with some market research, I am very grateful for your input. I am sorry this is a very short blog post, I am super busy, cutting and sticking and sewing and designing in a last minute dash for a trade fair. The photo above shows a small sample of an incredible bargain bag of odds and ends I bought recently in a clearance sale. In total 90 spools of assorted thread for £5 and a big bag of buttons for £1, a bag of zips and a bag of ribbons also for £1 each! Don't you just love a bargain?

  2. Fun , fun, fun! Love those kind of bargains...oh the possibilities! Last summer I bought a huge bag of all white buttons of all sorts and sizes. It was this woman's mothers so some of them are quite old. I have only sorted them according to size but haven't quite figured what to do with them...I just couldn't pass them up! Good luck at the show.

  3. Terribly late for the market research.....my absolute favorite is the fox in the wood --though I loved the others too.
Baby animals book a big hit with Henry....I told him the book was for Gretchen but he could 'read' it to her!
ps He loved the rabbits best in that one!

  4. I couldn't decide which prints I liked best since they are all so lovely, so I never responded to your last post. I have read my new copy of White is the Moon over and over since I received it from the contest at Wendy's blog. I can't express how grateful I am or how much I love the book and the artwork. You are incredibly talented.

If I had to pick a favorite page from the book, it is the title page, done in lovely blues and browns and velvety moths. My second favorite is tied between the fox and the seal pup. It is so hard to choose, as they all are so unique and beautiful.

I love a bag of bargains too. I once bought a large bag of lace trim and ribbons from a rummage sale, and we've had a decade of fun crafts with that treasure.
