Royal Society Miniatures

 

This year saw a Royal Coronation, I decided to create a special gilded miniature for the occasion. My design incorporated our four national flowers and King Charles's favourite native animal, the red squirrel.

The miniature painting was one of six to be chosen for the Art in Miniature Exhibition at Bankside gallery this summer.

 I also demonstrated painting during the exhibition and met lots of lovely people, although I was very nervous to paint with an audience. I completed my "Don't forget the bees" piece.
