HURRY! HURRY! Book Giveaway and two interviews.

I am having a very lazy week, my blog friends are doing all the work for me! I have two online interviews; the first about art licensing and you can read it here on Alex Colombo's art blog The Moon from my Attic

Secondly, for a chance to win a copy of my book "White is the Moon" all you have to do is visit "Good Books for Young Souls" where I have been interviewed by Wendy.

To enter the "White is the Moon" giveaway all you need to do is leave a comment on Wendy's blog, following the links and leave a comment but please HURRY because the giveaway finishes on Thursday. Please note Wendy can only ship to a USA address. However,I will be hosting my own giveaway on this blog next week open to everyone.

You can also try out the "Look inside feature" in the Amazon shop to give you more idea about the book.

Thank you so much Alex and Wendy and good luck everyone.

  1. Your drawings are exquisite Valerie.

  2. What a gorgeous little fox....but what i have loved is the leaves on this picture...wonderful xxxx

  3. it was a pleasure to read the interview, you are so very talented. i LOVE your illustrations!

  4. It looks like a very nice book and I would like to put "Kristina" in the frame that says "this book belongs to"... but I will have to wait for your giveaway.

    P.S. That fox is amazing.

  5. You always get me with your fox art! Lovely...

  6. It was my pleasure to interview you and highlight your WHITE IS THE MOON on my blog! My daughter said she could clearly see the Pre-Raphealite influence in your art and illustration. We're fans. :)

  7. Thanks for posting this Valerie. I read the interview! Your work is positively breathtaking.

  8. I tried to leave a comment on Good Books, one of my favourite blogs by the way, but it disappeared when I hit Publish!
Never mind, I will order my copy from amazon anyway. In my second childhood I do enjoy a new bedtime book and I know it will be beautiful
with just the right rythmic cadence
for the end of the day.

  9. The little fox is always a winner with me.

  10. It was my pleasure to collaborate with you on your interview Valerie. Thank YOU, you're such a wonderful artist!

  11. What a wonderful image Valerie. And I loved reading the interview, thank you for making sure we didn't miss it :D

  12. The painting of the red fox and the frog is so precious. We have red fox here on Long Island. I even saw one in my driveway last year, and I am in the middle of suburbia! Maybe a book about the lives of animals who live in suburban areas. We even have white tail deer here and many red tail hawks, not to mention the many, many Canada Geese. Lori beautiful work.

  13. Well, I can highly recommend White is the moon.
A big hit with Henry, aged 2, and much admired by his parents and grandparents.
How thrilling to get home today to find the lovely
BABY ANIMALS which I will give to Henry to 'read to' Gretchen.
You really do have a gift for capturing the charm of young creatures without being overly saccharine.
    How talented you are.
    Thank you, thank you!

  14. Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment you wrote in my little space. The funny thing is that I was thinking about you and your blog in the small hours of the morning: I have missed visiting you!

The interview was wonderful and I will echo those before me; you are a beautifully talented artist!

  15. Ohhh all the cards that you have done are beautiful I love them all but the fox one pulls me most as there has been some tame ones here on the field in the dark, While my cheeky Scruff was scared, standing there cross legged hiding behind mummy's legs.
The foxes just wanted to play, the details are awesome, thankyou so much for showing usx
